5-hour free development workshop for teachers of English

This workshop focuses on how the elements of „language coaching” can be embedded in our school education context to make ELT more focused, individualized and reflexive, and to support students to become more motivated, active, and autonomous Language learners, thus maximizing their potential in and outside the classroom.

Workshop tutor: Enikő Öveges, ELT consultant, teacher trainer

A blend of language teaching and coaching works perfectly in individual tuition - why not benefit from it in the school language classrooms?

How can we…

  • approach our students and our teaching in a more focused, individualized and empathetic way?
  • make our students more active language learners who take responsibility for their progress?
  • motivate our students and ourselves to make our classroom more collaborative and the atmosphere more positive?

The course offers insights into language coaching (LC) and gives a preliminary introduction into LC and to make the participants wish to know more about the approach. Besides, it also reveals aspects and hands-on methods that might prove useful in school education, at any level and with any age group.
