We are happy to accept registrations from candidates for our accredited exams (B2 First for Schools, B2 First, C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency) in our Budapest exam centre. You can register online simply and quickly. We organise most of our exams in computer-based format, C1 Advanced exams are available as pen and paper, too.
Important information:
- Please note that the test venue might not be the same as the address of the test centre. The test venue details will be sent to registered test takers two weeks prior to the exam date. All our test venues are easily accessible by public transportation.
In case of open exam dates, we organise our Young Learner exams at our Budapest test centre of the British Council. We can also organise Young Learner exams at external venues upon request. Please contact us to inquire about our Young Learner exams.
Exam fees and invoicing
- Since November 2022 an invoice will be generated automatically after we received the exam fee, you do not need to ask for an invoice via e-mail.
- You need to give the invoicing details in the last step during registration. Please make sure that you choose the correct option (yourself, another person or a company) and give the required details correctly. The invoice cannot be modified or changed after it has been issued.
- If you choose to pay the exam fee as an online payment, the invoice will be generated and sent to the e-mail address you gave during registration, usually within an hour.
- If you choose to pay the exam fee via bank transfer, the invoice will be generated and sent to the e-mail address you gave during registration, after we received the exam fee to our bank account and we updated it in the registration system.
- You can find out more about payment options (online payment or bank transfer) on the How to register page.
- In some cases it is possible to apply for the exam after the registration deadline. In this case the online registration system will automatically charge a late entry fee of 15,000 HUF.
SPEAKING TEST DATE
The Speaking Test date is determined by our Exams Centre, according to the Cambridge Assessment English specified time frame. It is not possible to select an exact date or to change the Speaking Test time. Before you apply, please check the time frame of the Speaking Test to avoid clash with personal commitments. The time frame set by Cambridge Assessment English will be displayed at the first step of the application, beside the Written Test date. Candidates are informed about the exact date and time of their Speaking test in the Confirmation of Entry e-mail, which is sent two weeks before the exam date.
Should you have any other questions regarding the Speaking Test, please contact our Customer Services team.
Upcoming exam dates
You can find the upcoming exam dates on the How to register page. Here you can find examination dates, fees, and the registration period for upcoming Cambridge Assessment English examinations.
For all of our exams the number of available seats are limited. Therefore we recommend that you register as early as possible before the registration deadline. Once the seats are sold for an exam date, we cannot accept further registrations. However, we do our best to provide enough capacity for all of the exam dates.
Please note: The Speaking part date is determined by the examination centre within the Speaking window set by Cambridge Assessment English. The exam will take place only if there are minimum 5 candidates registered for the date.
